AURA AERO, French aircraft manufacturer and pioneer in low-carbon aviation, will be at Paris Air Show, from 16 to 22 June. On an area covering over 7,500 sq.ft (static outdoor exhibition zone B4), the manufacturer will present its entire range of products as well as its latest innovations and projects:
- The INTEGRAL family of two-seater trainer aircraft with aerobatic capabilities:
- INTEGRAL R (thermal engine, tailwheel, training and aerobatics) ;
- INTEGRAL S (thermal engine, nosewheel, training and aerobatics) ;
- INTEGRAL E (electric motor, tailwheel or nosewheel, training, aerobatics and glider tow plane ;
- The scale 1 model of INTEGRAL E R4, a special series bearing the colors of the electric Renault 4, presented exclusively at Paris Motor Show in October 2024, as part of a partnership between the two manufacturers around more sustainable mobility.
AURA AERO will take part in the show’s inaugural flight on Monday 16 June, a first for the manufacturer, performing the first public flight of INTEGRAL E, its all-electric aircraft.
- ERA, the hybrid-electric aircraft that will decarbonize regional aviation before 2030:
- An updated full-scale model of the future regional hybrid-electric 19-seater’s cabin, with an immersive digital Virtual Reality system enabling visitors to discover the different possible cabin layouts – Passenger Economy, Business (Exclusive), Cargo and Special missions ;
- A Virtual Reality presentation of the aircraft’s cockpit, equipped with the new generation avionic systems specially co-developed with Thales.
- A drone demonstration model: to support European military sovereignty, AURA AERO is currently developing a multi-mission (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, tactical strikes, air support, communication relays) MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) sovereign drone at controlled cost.
- A presentation of the INTEGRAL dashboard, equipped with a unique avionic tool (on board and ground-based ) developed specifically by AURA AERO. Available on all the manufacturer’s aircraft and enabling pilots to retrieve all the flight data, this system, whose name will be unveiled at the show, has been designed to analyze each flight, anticipate maintenance operations and optimize the aircraft’s behavior on each flight. Thanks to a self-learning system based on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, AURA AERO ensures continuous improvement for aircraft that are more ecological, safe, smart and customized. In other words, the more the aircraft fly, the more the system improves itself. This presentation will be complemented by the solution developed by French startup HINFACT, offering real-time analysis of pilot behavior in flight, using cameras to detect fatigue or inattention.
- The future AURA Factory, in Virtual Reality: As part of its industrial expansion AURA AERO will begin construction of a new 540,000 sq.ft site this year, to support the ramp-up of INTEGRAL and series production of ERA. The AURA Factory, still at Toulouse Francazal airport, will bring together all the aircraft manufacturer’s activities (headquarters, design office, operational and administrative functions, production and assembly of aircraft for both programs, flight tests, deliveries and customer support). The aircraft manufacturer is also pursuing its international expansion, with two facilities in Florida, USA: the opening this summer of a hangar dedicated to INTEGRAL, and the construction, by 2028, of a production plant for ERA.
- A Virtual Reality aerobatic flight aboard INTEGRAL R… for the most daring!
- An area dedicated to digital and electric with AURA AERO’s “partners”, among which Safran, EDF, Onshape, PTC and UMBRA Group, with whom the manufacturer has forged solid, long-lasting ties.
Jérémy CAUSSADE, President and co-founder of AURA AERO, is looking forward to meeting visitors at the show: “This year, we are stepping up our presence at Paris Air Show, the unmissable event for the global aeronautical industry. With double the space we had last time, we will be presenting a host of new products in association with a number of partners, so come and pay us a visit!”
We look forward to welcoming the media on the AURA AERO area, from Sunday 15 to Thursday 19 June, specifically between 8:30 and 10:30 as well as during show opening hours.
