As a positive conclusion to the AERO Friedrichshafen 2024 show, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has just issued to AURA AERO an “Approval of Flight Conditions for Permit to Fly” for INTEGRAL E , a preamble to the first flight of the aircraft electric two-seater, the third aircraft in the INTEGRAL family.

Thanks to this document, the DGAC can now issue authorization for this new aircraft to begin its flight test campaign in the coming weeks.

INTEGRAL E represents a major achievement in the race for electric aviation. Some technical milestones must still be reached and, at the end of its flight test campaign, it will join the very exclusive club of electric aircraft entering the CS-23 category.

The joint work carried out with EASA on this prototype aims to prepare what the technical conformity documents should be for a series version, in a certification plan.

After being presented at the Paris Air Show last June, INTEGRAL E started its ground test campaign this year and will pass several new industrial milestones concerning the architecture of its electric propulsion.

The INTEGRAL family is a family of new generation two-seater aircraft, with aerobatic capability, available in 3 versions: INTEGRAL R (conventional train, SEP engine – Sigle Engine Piston) INTEGRAL S (tricycle train, SEP engine) and INTEGRAL E (train classic or tricycle, electric motor).

Jérémy CAUSSADE, co-founder, President and Chief Engineer of AURA AERO, declared: The entire AURA AERO team is very proud to take this new step in the INTEGRAL adventure today . We can’t wait to see our electric plane take off. The INTEGRAL family is already enjoying great success. Let’s decarbonize light aviation!”.
